By registering, you will get access to our dashboard, the shareholder disclosure statement and Co-Op rules, and be able take the next step to become a full Pods Equity shareholder.
We’ll ask you to provide your AHPRA number to confirm your status as a Podiatrist (and not a Physio ) This is to ensure that your Pods Equity investment remains exclusive to registered Australian Podiatrists.

01 How does this benefit a pod who doesn’t own a practice?
Individual podiatrists will still be able to take advantage of many bulk-buying opportunities both specific to podiatry and outside of the industry (e.g. reduced costs on podiatry CPD education and access to finance/phone/internet services).
You will also receive dividends from profits of Pods Equity and be supporting Pods Equity in creating a stronger future for yourself and your fellow podiatrists.
There are also additional streams of income (such as referrals, commissions and the ability to prescribe and sell ASICS) that individual podiatrists can personally benefit from. Further to this, if an individual practitioner decides to open a practice one day, the tools and support available through the Pods Equity ecosystem will ensure that the process is a lot simpler and easier.
02 Is there any overlap with the Association?
Pods Equity works to support advocacy groups like the Australian Podiatry Association and related sub-groups. We are a for-profit organisation that aims to capture profits from the purchasing of goods & services and pass them back to podiatrists, and so the only overlap with the Association is that we both have a desire to benefit the Australian Podiatry profession and the pods within.
No, there are no ongoing membership fees.

A practice owner will immediately see benefits in cost reductions in products and services used by the practice due to bulk-buying discounts and negotiations, as well as additional streams of income from new products and services added by Pods Equity. Further to this, as a podiatrist, the practice owner will receive dividends from profits of Pods Equity and be supporting Pods Equity in creating a stronger future for yourself and your fellow podiatrists.
We are in the process of creating a payment plan option for the purchasing of shares in Pods Equity, and expect to have it finalised soon.
